Our Office Warming Was a Hoot
Our modest office was recently transformed into a high-tech work space. And what better way is there to celebrate than throwing a party?
So we recently held an office warming to let our friends, family, clients and suppliers snoop around our new digs, feast on Greek food (supplied by the amazing Angela Boggiano) and have a good catch-up.
San-iT Superstars
We started our celebrations with an award ceremony to applaud our staff for all their hard work over the past year.
Best Newcomer went to Mat for his exceptional performance and enthusiasm. (Shout out to all our new starters: we couldn’t be prouder to have you as part of the team!).
While Kev was crowned King of Customer Service as he always goes the extra mile for our lovely customers.
The last of the ‘big three’ awards was the hotly contested Employee of the Year. With so many amazing staff at San-iT, it was hard to choose a winner.
Ultimately, we decided that Brian, our 1st and 2nd Line Support champion, deserved the trophy as he’s really pushed himself this year and delivered exceptional work. Well done Brian!
Special Awards
Our people’s quirks and good humour is what makes San-iT such a brilliant place to work.
For instance, Louise is always there to brighten our day with on-point jokes. Giving her the award for the Best One-Liners at our office warming was a no brainer!
While Joe won Office Legend: as one of our newest recruits and quiet at that start, Joe now entertains us all regularly with his jokes and wisecracks, but most of all he’s hardworking and always there to give the team a helping hand.
And we had to give Barry the award for the Most Competitive. Piece of advice: life is much easier when you let him win at pool.
We also wanted to praise Seb for his invaluable input into our new office build. Put a hammer or paintbrush in this guy’s hand and he’s unstoppable. We couldn’t think of a better person to win the Bob The Builder’s award.

Work Hard, Party Harder
After the award ceremony, the guests started to arrive. We loved showing off our new workspace. You can read the ins and outs of the new build in this blog.
The short version: via a two-story extension, we’ve added a shiny, state-of-the-art kitchen so our staff can eat in style. We’ve also created an area for maximum relaxation (on offer are cosy sofas, a pool table, a dart board and huge smart TVs with remote control access!). Plus, a large meeting room has been built so can we easily host seminars and events to large groups.
After giving our guests an interactive tour, we feasted on to-die-for Greek food provided by Angela from At The Kitchen (thanks so much!).
We spent the rest of the afternoon showing off our new office, relaxing in the lounge and chatting the day away.
The party continued into the late hours – shout out to Louise, Barry, Amarjit, Seb, Gaz, Mat KM and Mike for being the last people standing!
It was wonderful to see our favourite faces altogether (we had over 60 guests in the end!) and we couldn’t have had better company to celebrate our office warming with. Huge thanks to everyone who came to join us. Your friendship and support will always be invaluable!
