San-iT MD Barry Lowe Wins IT Personality of the Year

Hot on the heels of 2017’s award winning end to the year, when San-iT won Best IT Support Company at the Talk of Manchester Awards, 2018 kicked off in a similar fashion.  On the 25th January, San-iT Managing Director Barry Lowe, along with support from the leadership team, headed to the Lowry Hotel for this year’s Mancoolian awards on the 25th January.

Sponsored by Manchester City Hospitality and hosted by Downtown Manchester in Business, the Mancoolian Awards brought together over 200 business leaders for an evening of shared success, to celebrate the brightest and boldest of the Manchester business scene.  The gala awards dinner rewarded some of the most influential business men and women in the City Region.

It was a hectic evening of award announcements while we waited for the category of Barry’s nomination, ‘Digital and IT Personality of the Year.  Barry was up against some of the leading figures in the North West digital scene but was delighted to walk away with the award.

Barry commented:

“It’s fantastic to add yet another award to the San-iT trophy cabinet.  We are not motivated by awards and accolades, but it’s rewarding to be recognised for the hard work of the entire San-iT team.  We are always striving to push the boundaries when it comes to supporting our clients through their Digital Transformations.  To receive an award for ‘Digital and IT Personality of the Year’ means San-iT is recognised by the Manchester business community as a leader in the digital arena. We look forward to building on this success throughout the rest of 2018.

Frank McKenna CEO of Downtown in Business commented:

“It was another special evening, made possible by the continuing support of Manchester’s business community. It’s great to get the opportunity to celebrate the individuals, entrepreneurs and personalities that make Manchester the great city that it is. Congratulations to all the winners and thank you to our headline sponsor, Manchester City Hospitality.”
