How 2016 Made Us Bigger, Better and Stronger
Here at San-iT, we have been beavering away over the past twelve months and as we move into 2017, we have some real achievements to celebrate…
Top of the list is completing the Goldman Sachs Programme. This is a renowned scheme aimed at high-growth businesses and provides top quality business education. During the course we developed a customised growth plan to direct our expansion strategy. The Goldman Sachs Programme is run in partnership with, amongst others, Said Business School at Oxford University and Leeds University Business School. With the guidance of such renowned educational institutions, we are looking forward to the changes the completion of our strategic growth plan will motivate and the projected success this will bring.
The beginning of the year also saw the expansion of our space with a complete office refurbishment. This incorporated an extra floor and doubled our work space. Predictably, we did not take long to fill this welcoming three new staff in July. Olly, Gordan and Roy between them brought over forty years of expertise to our business and have been driving the business forward through problem solving and innovation. After meeting on the Goldman Sachs Programme, November also welcomed Gary Lumby as an NED and we look forward to the accelerated growth this inspires.
September was ‘The Big Charity Drive’ and in true ‘Top Gear Challenge’ style we hit the tarmac. With our very own MD, Barry behind the wheel , and ‘Jess the Jag’ polished and ready to go, what could go wrong? The challenge was to drive from Manchester to Chemnitz in Germany to raise vital funds for the Royal Manchester Children’s Hospital. Easy? Far from it! The hitch being that the car had to be worth less than £1000. Needless to say that while Barry arrived home safely, poor old ‘Jess the Jag’ did not. Despite the spot of car trouble, great fun was had by all and the teams raised over £25,000 of vital funds. What a result!
As technology never sits sit, neither do we and we have massively extended our product offering this year to ensure that our customers always receive dynamic and up-to-date services. We now offer cloud services, VoIP, and have invested in AV research to maximize the quality of the products we provide.
We at SAN IT are hugely proud of what we have accomplished this year and thank everyone who has been involved in making the last year such a success. With such a brilliant end to a busy year, it only leaves one thing to say – Bring it on 2017!
