Mike, Cyber Security Engineer

I’m Mike, one of the Cyber Security Engineers at San-iT. I’ve been here since 2016.

I’m another of the team who started off here as an apprentice. I worked my way up from there to my current role and I’m keen to progress further in the future.

I fit in well at San-iT, with a strong work ethic and ambition to do a good job. I’m very customer focused (and proud to have been awarded the San-iT customer service award in the past). I understand issues from a non-technical customer’s perspective and always aim to give advice in a jargon-free way.

Working at San-iT has given me loads of experience across many different areas of the industry. I’ve really been given the opportunity to develop a career, starting as an apprentice and being provided with training and support to allow me to work my way up to my where I am now, and hopefully beyond.

When I’m not making customers’ lives easier, I enjoy music – predominantly Rock and Metal, but many different genres as well. I’m also into cars, and recently got hold of a project car that I’m currently working on.
