Cat, Finance Manager

I’m Cat, the Finance Manager at San-iT. It was a new role, established in 2019 to create a deeper connection between the finance and support teams. I’ve been involved in big finance projects for the last 20 years, and have a special interest in systems and processes.

My role covers day to day accounting responsibilities, including sales ledger, credit control and cash flow management. It gives me a chance to do some problem solving and data analysis to identify opportunities within the company, and that’s what I enjoy. I’m passionate about delivering results and building a strong process-improvement culture.

I love the fast pace nature of the business at San-iT and the challenges each day brings. Challenges are something that really motivate me. I’m keen on self-development and have boundless energy to dedicate to improvement and change.

Outside of work, I’m really into food – so both cooking and eating lots of different types of foods and cuisines. I’m in the process of setting up a food blog, along with my husband and daughter, so they can share recipes and tips with their friends. It’s not all about food, though. I’m also a keen runner. I recently completed a half marathon and I’ve got an appetite to take on more running challenges in the future.
